Water pressure reducer
The pressure reducer is designed to secure the installation of ORISA® water network connections and tanks.
It limits overpressure phenomena caused by a water supply pressure level higher than that specified for the system.
Dezincification-resistant brass body.
- Compatible with mains water connection and tanks
- Equipped with a connection for pressure gauge (not supplied) 1/4’F
- Maximum upstream pressure: 16 bar; factory setting 3 bar
-
Optional safety system
-
Essential for pressure > 3 bar

Reduce water pressure for motorised installations or elevated water sources
Securing water network connections and reservoirs
The pressure reducer is an essential accessory for connecting water networks and tanks when it is necessary to reduce water pressure in the event of an elevated water source or the use of a motorised pump. It serves as protection to limit overpressure phenomena and secure the installation. The pressure reducer has an 800μm filter that can be cleaned to maintain its filtration performance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the ORISA® pressure reducer mandatory?
No, a pressure reducer is not mandatory. Its use is recommended depending on your installation.
- In the case of connection to a non-potable water network, a pressure reducer is recommended for any water pressure above 3 bar.
- In the case of connection to a water tank with an elevation of more than 30 metres, the pressure reducer will protect the installation from overpressure phenomena such as water hammer.
- When connecting to a low water source, or even an underground source with water drawn up by a motorised pump, the pressure reducer will protect your installation from overpressure in the pump's electrical circuit.
