50 μm pre-filter

The ORISA® 50 µm pre-filter is designed to remove the largest impurities from the water, thereby protecting the ultrafiltration membrane and extending its service life.

Pre-filter brush

To ensure the 50-micron pre-filter performs effectively, regular cleaning with the dedicated brush is recommended to clear the pores of the pre-filter.

Seal kit

The pack contains 7 replacement seals, which can be used to replace the original ones on the pump handle and pre-filter should they wear out.

NSF silicone grease, 20g

Silicone grease is used to lubricate the seals on the ORISA® water purifier or to grease replacement seals before fitting them to replace worn seals.

1 m food-grade water outlet hose

The drinking water outlet pipe and the part through which you collect the filtered water. It is essential that this part is in good condition and free from any potential bacterial contamination. Replacing it ensures the quality of the filtered water.

    The water outlet hose is essential for the correct use of the ORISA® water purifier and its accessories, as it is used to collect the filtered water. The original hose should be replaced if it is dirty, missing or in poor condition.

    The 50μm pre-filter

    The 50 μm pre-filter, located at the base of the ORISA® water filter, traps the largest particles during filtration. Over time and with use, it can become clogged. It is therefore necessary to clean it using the pre-filter brush provided. If the pre-filter becomes too clogged and is not maintained regularly, it will need to be replaced.

    The seals

    The ORISA® water purifier has several seals that ensure it remains watertight. Over time and with use, these may deteriorate. It is therefore necessary to replace them with new ones and lubricate them with a suitable grease to ensure they function correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to replace the water outlet hose?

We recommend that you handle the water outlet pipe as little as possible. This protects it from bacterial growth. In this way, you ensure that the water is not recontaminated after filtration, as it passes through the water outlet pipe. If you find that the hose is in poor condition, we recommend replacing it to ensure impeccable filtration quality. If you have 1 m of hose, you can cut it so that you have several new replacement hoses. We recommend a hose length of between 25 and 35 cm.

How often should I clean the prefilter?

We recommend that you clean the pre-filter very regularly. To maintain a satisfactory flow rate, it must be free of any natural deposits that may cling to the sieve. We supply a soft brush with your ORISA® water purifier to ensure that it is cleaned safely, without damaging the filter screen, and effectively, by removing agglomerated impurities.

How often should I replace the seals?

There is no set time limit. Durability depends on how you use and maintain your seals. We therefore recommend that you check the condition of your seals and apply silicone grease if they are not sufficiently lubricated. To do this, you can check the seals at the end of the handle, inside the system, by unlocking the handle latch to remove it. Also, when you clean the prefilter regularly with the ORISA® brush, make sure that the seal is still in good condition. If it is not, replace them to keep the filtration system watertight. If the seals are too worn, they can lead to a loss of pressure, affecting the filtration flow rate.
