On December 14, 2024, Mayotte was severely affected by cyclone Chido. The island is facing a major health crisis, with access to drinking water compromised for thousands of people. To respond to the emergency, Fonto de vivo mobilized a stock of 5,000 ORISA^® purifiers, ready to cover the needs of over 25,000 people. These purifiers are capable of instantly transforming unsafe water into drinking water. We call on NGOs, institutions and local players to work together to ensure rapid and effective distribution in order to prevent a health crisis.
